Well excuses are over. I am back on day shift. Two weeks of zombie land and I'm back among the living. Hurray!
Here are some pictures for your consideration...
Here is us camping in the mountains... (from the first week)
Here is Bess walking in Eastern Washington (still the first week).
Here are Erin and Joe showing off.... in Eastern Washington....
At the end of our first week we headed into Spokane and stayed at our first host family. They were wonderful. Here is a picture of us hanging out in the backyard resting our weary legs and eating lunch.
Here we have the newly minted Reverend Mr. Kevin Oiland grilling up some burgers for us hungry kids the next day. Weekends are great, a break from walking, great food, and great people.
Here is our dear friend Curt Siedel posing with a crazy fur hat.
And just to keep things fair here am I wearing the same crazy had and also buried in my own private pillow fort.
I have pictures of others with the crazy fur hat and also a "harry potter" cloak and hat but for now I will leave it at that. It takes a while to upload all these pictures....
And... here is my first picture from night shift.... (this is where I enter into the zombie night, the second week...)
Here is what we look like on the night shift. We zombies have to bundle up because it is cold and raining and zombies don't like rain. We also wear stylish reflective vests in order to not be run over by cars. The reflective vests also warn off the living who might disturb our zombie wanderings.
Here are all the people together both Day Shift (the living) and Night Shift (the zombies). We meet each morning for Mass before the day shift starts walking the the night shift hides from the day star (the sun).
That gets us into the beginning of the second week. We are currently in the beginning of the fourth week so obviously I am still behind on posting but at least I got a little bit of catching up done. It is currently after midnight and as a day shift walker I need to be sleeping soon or I may turn into a zombie.
Good Night all.
May God bless you all.
May God send his angels to watch over you and keep you safe.
